This a Challenge Cache. If you are unfamiliar with the term, a challenge cache is a cache which requires an individual to complete two tasks to claim a find:
- The first task is to find the cache container and sign the log.
- The second task is to qualify for the find by completing the challenge.
An individual who has found the cache but does not qualify for the challenge may still log their visit by using the "write note" log type and may change their note to a found it log at a later date by completing the challenge. In accordance with the rules for Challenge Caches, the following applies to all caches in this series:
- The owner qualifies for the challenge.
- The challenge is located at the waypoint labled "final location" on the cache page.
- A Project-GC checker is provided for verification of qualification.
- The difficulty rating is based off the challenge and the terrain rating is based off the actual terrain of the cache.
If you do not qualify for the challenge the CO reserves the right to delete your log without notice. Enjoy the challenge!
Challenge: Favorited Caches
To qualify for this challenge cache you must find any number of caches to have a cumulative total of 125,000 favorite points. Each qualifying cache must have a minimum of 120 favorite points. Geocaches with less than 120 favorite points do not qualify to be included in the cumulative point total.
