It is exciting to be scheduling another Idaho Falls event. When soliciting feedback from fellow cachers there was a splilt as to what Type of Event we should hold. This is my solution to the split decision .... a CITO Event with a Split Personality.

We literally found "The Nice Spot" to host a social event. The venue is a small family-owned coffee shop. No purchase is required. There is ample space to just hang out and visit for a bit before we head over to the CITO.

We will Provide: refreshments, including snacks and water; etc; collection buckets / trash bags; some grabbers; enthusiasm and an opportunity to earn smileys and souvenirs!!
Provided by you: your own gear appropriate to the weather; gloves; your smileys; physical activity; enthusiasm, and maybe a carpool of friends to join in.
This venue is a neighborhood park across the street from the airport runway. There is a children's playground, a covered pavilion with tables, and restrooms.
Thank you ahead of time for your support of the local business (just by being there is good enough), and our geocaching community. Rumor has it you may be able to qualify for a couple of souvenirs if you attend the CITO and meet the qualifications for other souvenirs."

(2) Celebrate the September equinox. To earn this souvenir, geocachers must find a total of 3 geocaches, Event Caches, and/or Adventure Lab® Locations between September 22–28, 2024.
