Badlesmere Village Green
12.30pm till 1.30pm
Badlesmere is has hosted several series of geocaches and meets over the years. Why not show our gratitude by spending an hour picking up litter on the village green.
Meet up at the given co-ordinates for a short health and safety briefing, then we shall go our different ways gathering litter.
Bring litter back to the collection point at the village hall an hour later.
You will need to bring a bag in which to collect your litter.
I’d suggest you consider bringing a litter picker, gardening gloves and a hi-viz jacket.
Please log a “Will Attend” so I can judge numbers. Those attending will get the official Geocaching CITO souvenir.
The event is taking place with the full permission of Badlesmere Parish Council.
There is ample parking nearby - see marked waypoints. PLEASE park here and DO NOT try to drive up to the Village Hall.
There is a regular bus service from Ashford and Faversham.
Dogs and children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times.
The nearby road can be busy so I’d suggest dogs remain on leads.
The CITO will be followed by a meet in the nearby pub where we can all have a little drinkie to recover from our efforts
