The cache is located within Ron Beaton Park at Torquay beachfront. This is one of the most popular beachfront locations in Hervey Bay, with nearby picnic shelters, grassy park, and beautiful uninterrupted sea views. This is a very family friendly location with safe,year-round swimming. The park adjoins the Hervey Bay Surf Lifesaving Club and has direct access to the 14km paved Esplanade cycle/walking path, which stretches from Pt Vernon to Urangan. Other facilities include BBQ's, toilets, disability facilities, water, beachfront shower, bike racks and seating, A short walk to many local cafes and eateries.
