A lovely walk around Bundanoon is the "Bridge to bridge", about 5km in length (or 4 if you use the railway crossing at the station). Be careful of traffic on the Northern end of Bundanoon road, but otherwise enjoy the village.
This one is probably not safe for kids. You'll need to park further up the road and jump the ditch to reach this cahce. Make sure you look up and admire the old stone bridge over the creek in the paddock. You'll likely also see some kangaroos, and if at dusk, a wombat or two.
