Spring is always my favorite time of the year - awaiting the arrival of birds that winter in other parts of the country. My personal favorite is the Baltimore Oriole.
Wisconsin is home to a wide variety of common bird species. Some of the most frequently observed include the American robin, black-capped chickadee, Northern cardinal, American goldfinch, mourning dove, blue jay, and red-winged blackbird. You can also spot Canada geese, American crows, and various woodpeckers like the downy and hairy woodpecker.
At WP1, you will be greeted by several birds of the feather. Hopefully you are able to identify several birds common to Wisconsin. The final is located at:
N 43 24.Bluebird / Sparrow / Northern Cardinal
W 088 10.Blue Jay / Robin / Crow
Many thanks to jspleva for the donation of the very fun containers found at both WP1 and the final!
