Geocache Description:

Dear Geo. LetterBoxer:

I have found this marvelous spot to picnic with the local gnomes, fairy, trolls, and wee folk. Now there be many mowed paths that wander as thou wonder here. And thou might become disoriented and be glad for thine packed lunch as the sun sets and thou is all alone except for the ogres and wild boar. So it is important -heed my directions and warnings:

Go to Parking coords. Park!

Pack a lunch with a few extra nibbles and sparking beverage and also mead for the wee folk.

Arrive at parking, Dismount your horse or carriage or scooter. Wear duck boots or Uggs

Spot the Kiosk at listed KI coords and go to read (Hunting: Presrve open during archery season BUT closed on certain dates December January, February except Sundays), but look around at this fabjous meadow. A place and time to come is May until Autumn when flowers appear and wane and new ones constantly replace with more kinds. )

Now, take your compass and find the most northerly path at 0o degrees (Should I more correctly say northern path or northerly? Whatever, take whichever but the path nearest the trees but heading to TR trail sign coords, although the next trail over may or may not work) Be sure you leave a trail of bread crumbs, what if you forgot to waymark you transport?

Continue until you spot some black walnut trees. If it is autumn and even the slightest breeze, cover your head and RUN.

You will come to multiple trail crossings, thence whereupon you must cross the Tweedle dum and Tweedle Dee Twin/double Bridge over the rainy season swamp.

Continue on straight, ignoring side paths that lead to the Daedalus' Labyrinth mazes- where the FTF Minotaur awaits.

At the Organic Farm sign (All farms were organic in Letterboxing days). Read and continue straight until you come to another sign at listed TN trail coords for ←→ Turn to the east. (if you miss that one, the next right works also -maybe) follow the ’s

After what seems like you are lost,  you should evenually see a large barn, you are now close to the feasting area. If you don't see the barn, it may be wise to save half you sandwich. Now just a little further on the long, long journey.

Should you come to a cross road, cross it, why do you think they call them cross roads?

Soon-There it is on your right-the Picnic table, under a shady silver maple. There is another sign here but rather difficult to read. Perhaps a warning,

Beware, as now is the part you must follow without error or hesitation or you will regret it.

The bench has a secret compartment! Do exactly as I say. DO NOT Slide the bench to the left nor the Right, neither lift up, no! First Look Behind the rigth table leg. Retrieve the letterbox. If you brought you stamp book and stamp, Stamp. Stamp. If not I hope you bought your manual transcribing unit (BYOP, dummy)

If you wish to have your repast now, enjoy. If you wish to invite the wee folk, slide the bench to the towards you SLOWLY to let them out if they're at home. Cute little furry wee folk of legend. Share your vittles if you wish to fatten them for the snakes, but remember if you become lost you're on your own and the Minatours roam the wastelands.

The picture below is of 2 those cute little people here when I placed the letterbox for you. They are known to be fecund so there may be more hungry souls when you arrive.

On leaving, return all as you found and return to the parking in reverse, being careful not to lose your trail of breadcrumbs.  Oh no, remember Hanzel and Gretel? Next time leave a trail of kale, or anchovies, maybe tofu.

Sincerely,

Your Geo-pal

S'well
