This is the oldest active cemetery in Helena, MT. Here is a plaque with a bit of the history. The Israel is the oldest family plot. The older headstones are made of sandstone
Ignore the Van as the muggle is the caretaker of the cemetery. Let's be respectful and keep it a home of peace. If you get a chance check out the history and customs of the Jewish religion, they do not embalm their loved ones, always wash their hands when they leave the cemetery, they mourn for 30 days, and they cover the mirrors. Please be respectful and do not sit on the headstones. Bring a folding chair to sit on if you want to go in and enjoy the peace and tranquility and see the headstones. It was established in 1890. Included are some pictures of some stones and wildlife.
Congratulations to MontanaDerik for the FTF!
