
Recently we came to Ngarkat Conservation Park, camping at Buck's Campground for a few nights...
Whilst there, and on our travels around the tracks, we saw abundant wildlife including many Wedge-tailed Eagles, and frill-necked lizards.
At the listed co-ordinates, which is one of the many entrances to Ngarkat there is a signboard... please heed it's info!

There are numerous types of birds to see here, we saw all but one on the following list....
A. Aquila audax
B. Dromaius novaehollandie
C. Malurus cyaneus
D. Leipoa ocellata
E. Dacelo novaeguineae
F. Rhipidura leucophrys
G. Eolophus roseicapilla
H. Gymnorhina tibicea

Enjoy your travels in Ngarkat CP, and be sure to come self sufficient. Phone/internet coverage is dodgey, but tops of hills seemed to be okay along with spots at Buck's Campground
THIS IS 4X4 TERRITORY, and must only enter with a 4x4 vehicles and being self-sufficient, including water, toilet facilities, etc!
There also are no rubbish bins here, so please remove everything you bring in...
There are also entry fees and/or camping fees, which need to paid for online, with campsites needing to be booked AND and paid for prior to arrival!
