Please Mr. Postman, a song by The Marvelettes and Motown's first number 1 song on Billboard Hot 100 in 1961. It was later covered by The Beatles and The Carpenters, amongst others. It was the first song to come to mind when I needed a title that fit the theme of World Postcard Day. The event doesn't have much to do with the song.
Years ago, I would often walk past Postal Station K, a historic Art Deco post office. The facade was kept and a condominium was built. This event will take place in front of the building in Montgomery Square, We will have a chance to catch up on our latest geocaching shenanigans. Looking forward to seeing you all.
