The St Mellons Scout Troop meet in St Mellons Village Hall. Other groups also use the hall, such as beavers, brownies, cubs, scouts, guides and rangers. In the back of the hall is the village's World War One cenotaph, that used to be on the side of the old school hall (now replaced with houses at the Ton).
