Geocache Description:

A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims, who are followers of Islam. The word mosque comes from the Arabic word masjid, which means "a place of prostration" to God. Mosques can be covered buildings or open areas where prayers are performed. There are two main types of mosques: the masjid jāmi, or "collective mosque", which is a large state-controlled mosque that is the centre of community worship and the site of Friday prayer services; and smaller mosques that are operated privately by various groups within society.

A temple is a building reserved for religious or spiritual rituals and activities such as prayer and sacrifice. The term is typically used for such buildings belonging to all faiths where a more specific term such as church, mosque or synagogue is not generally used in English.
