This cache is being placed 9/22/24 in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the show Lost, which premiered 9/22/2004. This cache is part of my Lost series of Geocaches and represents episode 1x15 Homecoming. This is also part of my Wayward Pines series of caches. It represents Rule #7 "Do not try to leave". This road is used as both an entrance and exit from our town.
This cache is placed near one of the town's welcome signs. This sign is located within a triangular area between 8th Street , and two roads used for entrance or exit from town. It is suggested that you park on the west side of the triangle, along the side of the small road. You will be very close to the geocache here. Please use caution and be aware of your surroundings and practice safe driving/parking etiquite.
There is a welcome sign located near the geocache. Please be respectful of the limestone sign. The cache is not on the sign. You are looking for a pill bottle attached to a caribeener. It is located about 5 feet up and camoflagued in a similar color to where it is. You can unclip the caribeener or just unscrew the bottle lid to get to the log sheet. Please make sure the caribeener closes completely, it tends to stick.
