This cache is being placed 9/22/24 in honor of the 20th anniversary of Lost, which premiered 9/22/04. This cache is part of my Lost series of Waymarks and Geocaches. This cache represents episode 3x07 Not in Portland. As you'll see from the welcome signs, you're a long way from Portland. This also represents my Waywayd Pines series of Geocaches and Waymarks. This cache is located near one of the town's limestone welcome signs. It can be accessed by turning off of Hwy 83 onto 2nd street and then turning on Front Road. There is a small pull off on Front Road next to the sign. You could also park at the Cenex on 2nd Street and walk across Front Road to the sign.
This cache is placed near the sign, but not on the sign. Please be respectful of the sign. You are looking for a pill bottle attached to something "artificial". There may be black pipes in the flowerpot, these have nothing to do with the geocache.
This is Kansas and we do have snakes, stickers, and stinging insects, so please watch your step.
This cache is located across Hwy 83 from the Buffalo Bill statue, so it makes a nice quick stop if you're visiting the statue.
