If there is one thing that cachers do more than most people, it is looking at maps.
This series of puzzles will put your map searching abilities to the test!
In each of the 6 puzzles for this cache, you will see an aerial picture (from Google maps) of somewhere in Winnipeg (inside the Perimeter Highway) in the top window. Your task will be to find the location on the map in the bottom window.
Make sure to match the Zoom level of the image. The images do not need to line up perfectly, but must be close enough to please the checker.
IMPORTANT TIPS:
- Winnipeg is directly south of Lake Winnipeg!
- Highly recommend using Google Maps in a different tab to find the spot first!.
- If you see a pop-up saying "This page can't load Google Maps correctly." click "OK" and the map will say "For Development purposes only". When this happens, you can still solve the puzzle, however it will be more difficult to do so on the puzzle page itself (again, use Google Maps in another tab to find the spot first then return to the puzzle page).
I have reduced the zoom of some of the more challenging ones to make them a little easier due to this issue.
