Cashingout was an avid geocacher known to many. Friends and parents called him Rolf, coworkers called him The Renaissance Man, his children called him daddy, his grandchildren called him Old Man and his wife called him dear. Rolf was one of the smartest people we knew.
One of his hobbies was studying the history of electronic computers. That’s how he came to design the Old Computer geocaching puzzle series. All of his Old Computer puzzles have been archived because nobody knew how to help other cachers solve them.
Other hobbies of Rolf included building rockets, visiting museums and 4-wheeling through the mud with his vintage jeep. Rolf loved traveling, visiting family, watching Star Trek and enjoyed the company of his many friends.
