I traghetti di Venezia!
Tornare al passato sarebbe fantastico in una città unica come Venezia, una volta quando non c’era il vaporetto e ancora prima i ponti si attraversava la città a piedi usando i Traghetti da Parada che oggi sono pochissimi, e invece sarebbe un modo per riscoprire la città e scoprire nuove zona di Venezia senza fare sempre i soliti percorsi, quindi spero che questo articolo lo legga qualcuno dell’attuale amministrazione comunale.
Una volta a Venezia c’erano molti meno ponti di adesso, e per passare da una riva all’altra si montava in barca. Quei primi barcaioli hanno inventato di fatto il trasporto pubblico urbano: il traghetto – era chiamata così l’imbarcazione – trasportava le persone (o le cose) su un percorso prefissato, era insomma un vero e proprio servizio di linea. Le barche da traghetto avevano infatti orari e tariffe ben definite ed erano a disposizione di chiunque ne facesse richiesta. Forse non molti sanno che ancora oggi è possibile attraversare il Canal Grande con la gondola “traghetto” o gondola ” da parada”, un po’ più grande rispetto alle altre. Il tragitto è breve, giusto per raggiungere la sponda opposta del Canale.

Perhaps not many people know that even today it is possible to cross the Grand Canal with the "traghetto" gondola or "da parada" gondola, a little larger than the others. The journey is short, just to reach the opposite bank of the Canal.
