We celebrate our birthday every trip we take around the sun (which actually takes about 365 days, 6 hours and 9 minutes).
I encourage you to enjoy your birthday, or any date of your current trip around the sun, getting out and enjoying a hike in the beautiful McDonald Forest. We were celebrating a birthday when this cache was placed/hidden.
The cache is at an elevation of about 1950 feet, and will require a significant hike from any of the forest access points, but doesn't require leaving the roads or trails. From the cache location, there are nice view to the north and northeast of the Soap Creek Valley.
The cache currently contains only a log and a couple of birthday candles; the real present is the journey, views, and conversations you might enjoy along the way. Enjoy!!
