Geocache Description:

Charles Mullen

Mullenising is a system of farming introduced

on this land in the late 1800s by Charles

Mullen. Previously scrub land was cut down

and the stumps were grubbed out before

the land was cultivated. With mullenising a

forked log with spikes was used to cultivate

the ground between the stumps bringing the

land into production much earlier than

previous methods. The original forked log worked

around the stumps but became the forerunner

of the stump jump implements used today.

In true Letterbo/hybrid intention, the cache is not at the listed co-ords, but you need to start there for either of two(2) methods.

There are two(2) methods to ascertain the GZ co-ordinates.

1. Solving the 'easy' jigsaw, which should give you enough info to solve for the final co-ordinates.

2. Starting at listed co-ordinates walk 445ish metres in a south-easterly direction to the cache at GZ.
