Geocache Description:

This is the second cache in the Avengers of Thousand Hills series.  I recommend finding Captain America First as the story will be chronological, however, you can find them in any order if the story is not of interest.  It is a micro inside a downed log a short distance from parking.  The log it is hidden in is very near a currently standing dead tree.  I will attach a picture to assist in finding it if my description does not prove helpful.  This cache is placed with permission via a permit.

Avengers of Thousand Hills: Chapter 2

Just as the situation seemed dire, a thunderous roar echoed through the park, shaking the very ground beneath Captain America's feet. A massive green figure burst through the trees, sending Hydra agents scattering in panic. The Hulk had arrived.

“Captain! Smash!” Hulk bellowed, his fists clenched and ready for action. With a single swing, he sent two Hydra agents flying, their shouts fading into the distance as they crashed into a tree.

“Glad to see you, big guy!” Captain America called out, relief flooding through him. Together, they made a formidable team. As Captain America led the charge, weaving through enemy fire with agility, Hulk followed close behind, creating chaos and destruction with each powerful strike. The agents of Hydra quickly realized they were facing not one but two of Earth's mightiest heroes.

As they pushed further into the park, Captain America shouted tactical commands, guiding Hulk toward the nearest group of agents. “To the left! Take them out!”

Hulk roared in response, charging at the nearest group. He leaped into the air, landing with a ground-shaking thud, scattering Hydra operatives like leaves in the wind. Captain America, timing his movements perfectly, used the momentary confusion to flank the remaining agents, his shield a blur as he incapacitated them one by one.

While they fought, Captain America kept an eye on the surrounding area, looking for any signs of the infinity stone. He spotted a glimmer of blue light emanating from a nearby creek, partially hidden beneath a rock. “Hulk! Cover me!” he shouted, making a dash toward the source of the light.

The Hulk, understanding the urgency, turned his attention toward the remaining Hydra agents. With a fierce growl, he launched himself into the fray, grabbing one agent and slamming him down while tossing another into the air, sending them sprawling. The remaining agents were now panicking, realizing that their mission was failing.

As Captain America reached the creek, he carefully moved the rock, revealing the glowing infinity stone nestled among the pebbles. He could feel its power radiating. As he began to reach for it, Loki the god of mischief arrived with a hoard of his own henchman.  As his troops occupied Captain America, Loki attempted to flee with the infinity stone.

Just then, a sharp whistle pierced the air. Captain America turned to see a group of geocachers, led by the renowned geocachers ROAD KILL!, Buzz Kill, and luckycharmer. “We heard the call for help!” they declared. “We’re here to assist!”

“Great timing!” Captain America replied.  “We need to get the stone at all costs. Can you help us hold the line while we stop Loki?”

With a nod, the geocachers quickly sprang into action. They spread out, using their knowledge of the terrain to set up traps and obstacles for the Hydra agents.

Loki was quickly getting farther away with the stone.  Captain America handed his shield to Hulk and told him to use it to stop Loki.  With a mighty frisbee style fling, Hulk hit Loki with the shield, causing the stone to go flying from his hands.  Loki vanished, presumably hurt and looking to recoup before going for the stone again.

Hydra agents continued to storm the area.  More reinforcements would be necessary for the Avengers to hold off the evil forces seeking the stone to wreak havoc and cause destruction, and also to find the stone themselves to get it to safety.

Geocachers and more Avengers alike are needed to return order to Thousand Hills.
