The Phoenix Series. This series of caches is going to replace GC2P41A, Mac's Mossy Mountainous Murderous Malevolent Multi which was publilshed in 2011. If you didn't do it, it took the cacher to six locations in Mac Forest where a small field puzzle was waiting at each location that would lead you to the next waypoint and so on till the final. It got great reviews and I loved putting it together but due to the forest changing so much in the last couple of years, this has been a bear to maintain. So, I decided to archive it and create these new caches. If you are looking for a similar adventure to Mac's Mossy..., try GCAGJ34 Epic MacDonald Forest Epic Adventure, it's probably even more murderous and malevolent!
In each of the first 5 Phoenix Series caches is a code word that, when entered into Certitude in alphabetical order (no spaces), will provide the coordinates for the bonus cache. The fifth cache is an unknown cache. The posted coordinates are NOT the final coordinates. DO NOT GO THERE! Solve the puzzle below to get the final coordinates then you can use the checker to verify. The final is quite a walk from any parking spot you choose. Come prepared for some up! When you get to GZ you are looking for a smallish lock-n-lock behind a large stump under a pile of bark. Not very many people get this far but all the same, please practice some stealth. Enjoy, and don't forget to write down the code word!
Other caches in The Phoenix Series:
01-Traditional
02-WIG
03-Letterbox Hybrid
04-Multi
06 BONUS!
The Puzzle can be found in the gallery. Once you have found the word or phrase, enter it without spaces into certitude to obtain the final coordinates.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
