Having completed the associated Adventure Lab, Incredible DuPont! you have all the information needed to go after this bonus cache.
You may have learned some DuPont history that is new to you. Below is additional information that didn't make it on the tour.
On the large stone tablet outside the DuPont Museum, there are listed 10 firsts for the community, many having to do with the arrival of white Europeans. Little is said about the Native Americans who were living here long before those things occurred.
Across the street from where you will park for this cache, there is a grassy field. It used to be the location of both a Clubhouse (c.1910) and a Hotel (c.1911)
The Clubhouse was built to provide employees of the DuPont Dynamite Company with a place to socialize. It had a ballroom, a bowling alley, a library, a tavern, a barbershop, and billiard and card rooms. It fell into disuse and was razed in 1962.
The DuPont Hotel has 41 rooms and served as a boarding house for single employees. It housed both the doctor's and the dentist's offices. With few remaining single men, the Company demolished the building in 1930 and donated the furnishings to Goodwill.
