Welcome to the Herbert S. Sears Park C.I.T.O (Cache In, Trash Out) event! Join us as we come together to help keep our beautiful park clean and green. This is a chance for geocachers to give back to the environment while enjoying the thrill of community and being together! Also a great chance to get your fall cito badge for 2024!
Event Details:
• Date & Time: Saturday October 19th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm
• Meeting Point: Posted coordinates, there are some benches near the baseball diamonds behind Fairhaven School
• What to Bring: We will be providing disposable gloves as well as trash bags and grabbers. We have a needle pickup tool and a sharps disposal bin as well. Feel free to bring your own supplies if you would like.
Instructions:
- Check-In: Arrive at the meeting point to check in and meet everyone. There will be a short safety briefing.
- Cleanup: Spread out in groups and start picking up trash throughout the park.
- Tim Horton's Hangout: After the cleanup we will be going to the Tim Horton's on 11th st for a post-CITO hangout
Important Notes:
- Please follow all park rules and guidelines.
- Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
- The event will go on rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather.
- I have hidden a cache in the park for this event, If you would like to find it, Dont forget to bring your gps/device and a writing utensil!
