I still needed to hide a cache this month so I took a trip over to Lakehead and found this spot. I wasn't sure what to call this cache so I named it after the lovely little town it's hidden in. Lakehead is located halfway between Seattle and Los Angeles. Its population is 469 as of the 2020 census. It is a very seasonal town with many Shasta Lake services, including a small grocery store and low-cost lodging for Shasta Lake visitors. It also has several campgrounds.
It is a small camouflaged container with limited room for trading items and trackables. A $1 bill and bragging rights wait for FTF. There may be some poison oak in the area but it should be avoidable. Good luck and have fun!
Congratulations to floflower for the FTF!
