Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at the corner of Peppertree Grove and Oliphant Avenue, two streets with special significance to the area. Peppertree Grove is named after the iconic peppertree that stands proudly at the end of the street - a living landmark. Oliphant Avenue, on the other hand, pays homage to Sir Mark Oliphant, a renowned physicist and former Governor of South Australia, whose contributions have left a lasting impact on science and the state.

For years, I’ve passed this corner, admiring the landmark structure and imagining the perfect spot to hide a cache. After much thought and planning (and a little bit of courage), I finally decided to place one here, hoping others can appreciate this quiet corner and the history it holds.

The cache itself is small, so please make sure to bring your own pen or pencil to log your find, as there’s no room for a writing implement inside. Additionally, there’s no space for trading items, so the thrill of discovery will have to be reward enough!

Please be cautious when replacing the cache to ensure it remains accessible for the next geocacher. A misplaced cache could make it tricky to retrieve, so take care to secure it in its proper hiding spot.
