Geocache Description:

The Trailhead coordinates (below) should take you to the bench with owls as shown in the photo with our granddaughter who usually helps us to set these caches! This should help you find the best way in! After about 80' you will need to head left and find the path to take you to GZ!!! The path does have obstacles so take care!

IN ORDER TO FIND THE BONUS CACHE, YOU WILL NEED TO FIND THE FIVE SEPARATE NUMBERS WRITTEN ON SOME OF THE LOGBOOKS!! EACH OF WHICH WILL APPEAR ONLY THE ONCE.

The tree will have some decorations on it to start you off! Hopefully, the 2000 or so solar lights will be set on the timer so that you can see the lights too! These were donated two years ago by a Scouting friend of Rik, (The Biggin Hill Flyers) our lovely friend who sadly passed away in 2021. She loved Christmas; she loved the Well Woods caches. So we, personally, remember her in this way each year now and hope you enjoy them too!

This year we've shaken things up a little! There will not be a Secret Santa. Last year, a lot of the presents disappeared well before Christmas (when we visited) so this year will see a different box of goodies left here!

If you would like to decorate this tree (as is Customary after all these years) please be as wild as you like with the decorations. It's not obligatory to do this, however. If you do forget to bring some Christmas bits, and you do want to add to the tree, you'll find a largish box with some decorations in.There won't be enough for everyone, so please bring your own if you can.

The box of decorations is NOT THE CACHE!!!!

We shall have a Night Cache event on the evening of Saturday 4th January 2025 (Click here to go to the event page). We meet up in the car park and follow night tacks to GZ and strip the lovely tree of its decorations for another year.
