We think Irakleia Island deserves more attention than it has today. So we decided to set up our first cache right here. We stayed for five days only and we experienced a lot! Trip by fisherman boat Eros around the Island with nice captain Antonios, beaches, taverns, cache near old windmill with sunset view, sunrises and much more. Do not forget this old castle :-) And here are many others what to do… Maybe the biggest cave on Cyclades, hiking, snorkeling, fishing and THE OLD PLANE UNDER THE SURFACE from War II in Alimia beach. And what is the Best? Here are really beautiful people all around ❤️

About Castle
Livadi Fort (Kastro) is the ruins of a Hellenistic era fortification (323-316 BC) that commands the top of a hill overlooking Livadi beach.
There are also finds dating to the Neolithic era, as well as remnants of a Temple of Zeus and a sanctuary of the goddess Tyche (Fortune).
The monument was inhabited in more recent years and was abandoned in 1930.
