🧭 The Rat Pack's Winter Solstice Celebration Cache Event

The Rat Pack, Nezzmuk, Ratwaffles & JustKimbah present...

Shhh... We've thrown together a last-minute gathering to mark the shortest days of the year and celebrate our incredible geocaching community! This spontaneous event meets all the criteria for a Geocaching Community Celebration Event (CCE)—meaning it's less about the caches and more about the connection.

🗓️ Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, December 20th, 2025

• Time: 12:00 PM (Noon) to 2:00 PM

• Where: Nezzmuk's & JustKimbah's Lair

🌟 A Mysterious Afternoon of Community:

Come spend a couple of hours with us. The plan is fluid, the activities are tentative, but the good cheer is certain. Expect an afternoon of camaraderie, hot dogs, and conversation focused on the heart of geocaching: the people.

• The Meal: Some piping hot, savory goodness will be served. (Hot Dogs.)

• The Activity (Tentative): We might have a few quick "yard caches" just to keep our fingers nimble.

• The Un-Puzzles: Test your patience by attempting to not solve our collection of puzzles designed to resist being solved. The difficulty is truly high (D=5) on these.

• Future Finds & Whispers: We'll be dropping hints about our upcoming caching adventures. Expect events that traverse from the salts of the earth to the most breathtaking cosmic views. And keep your ears open for talk of a new, local caching collective forming in early 2026. Look for acronyms involving B, O, N, G, A... 

The Rumor: We've heard whispers that a brand-new Adventure Lab with a special Bonus Cache is being prepared by the Rat Pack crew. Will the final waypoints be revealed at the event? If this Lab is ready it will be released at the end of the event. Due to some real life events, this is highly unlikey to happen by this event. But who knows.....fingers crossed

🎁 Cache Exchange: Give a Cache, Get a Cache!

To honor the spirit of giving and growing our community's cache landscape, we are hosting a Volunteer Cache Exchange Game.

To participate, please bring:

• One customized geocache container (Small size up to Large size ONLY. No Micros or Nanos allowed this year.)

• The container must be complete and ready to hide (logbook, pencil, swag/trackable starting item inside).

• The goal is to provide a fun, quality container for someone else to find a great hiding spot for!

We wouldn't leave you without a bit of holiday cheer and a brain scratcher!

Q: What do you call a Christmas elf who is obsessed with finding geocaches?

We can't wait to log this memory with you! Since this is a Community Celebration, your attendance is the true prize. If you are planning on attending Please log a "Will Attend" as soon as possible so we can finalize the headcount for the TBD meal and an idea of how many will be bringing a cache to exchange.
