Attend this Community Celebration Event Beaver and get your passport.a week early. Nine of the 30 Beaver Roundup Coin Challenge caches are located in this open space. So grab a buddy or two and get started after the event.
Make sure you punch the passport with the punch included with the cache. You will need 25 of 30 punches to qualify for a drawing to win a coin.
Bring water, but not your geopup since dogs are not allowed in the Columbine Open Space.Â
This Community Celebration Event will be held at the Douglas County Open Space at the Columbine Open Space and Trail shelter.
Trail Information about Columbine Open Space
• Easy, with a short climb on the south loop.
• Two trail loops, approximately 1.5 miles each that are part of and connect to the Colorado Front Range Trail (south to Larkspur, Greenland, Palmer Lake and Colorado Springs).
• Multi-use: horses, mountain bikes and hiking
• Dogs are not allowed.
• No water is available.
