Welcome to Beaver Lake.
This is a small fishing lake with several small islands, one of which we will paddle out to for this get together.
Expect a trip of about 700 meters from the boat launch to the island.
Bring whatever you need to make the crossing, air mattress, rubber tube or dinghy, paddleboard, kayak or canoe.
Whatever floats your boat, don't forget your mandatory PFD.
Boats with trolling motors are allowed, powered boats are not.
Bring fishing gear if that's your thing, but be aware that this is a catch and release lake.
And since you can't eat your catch, we will be serving up hot dogs that will be barbequed on shore to enjoy either before or after your paddle (since campfires are not allowed on the island).
