Geocaching is full of moments that should be captured and shared with the global geocaching community. Whether you prefer comedies, dramas, or sci-fi adventures, GIFF is an opportunity to enjoy stories (both fictional and real) about geocaching.
On a semi-regular basis, geocachers from around the world create short films themed around their favorite hobby as part of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF), and Groundspeak, the company responsible for overseeing geocaching, selects a set of the best short films as finalists for the annual GIFF event.
This year is all about celebration. Not only are we celebrating 25 years of geocaching, but the amazing community that has built this game for a quarter century. That’s why this year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!”
