At Shepparton, on ANZAC Day, 25th April from midday till 2.
A Community Celebration Event celebrating 25 years of Geocaching, and our annual Central Victorian Get Together.
It is being held at the lake at midday, allowing those who wish to attend an Anzac Day service beforehand.
The event will be under cover, right beside the lake, ample car parking, toilets nearby
Parents with toddlers will need to keep a close eye on their offspring because the friendly ducks, swans and pelicans are a big attraction to tempt them near the water’s edge.
You may care to bring a picnic lunch, or perhaps purchase tea in the main street nearby, where there is a wide range of fast food outlets, drinking water is available but if it is a hot day I suggest you might like to bring along some cold drinks as well. There are tables and seating under cover.
A fun area where you can launch a small watercraft and locate the rare combination 3/5 cache nearby. The lake water is unsuitable for swimming, but Aquamoves swimming centre is nearby as is the All Abilities playground. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
