Geocache Description:

Come join us for a fun morning at Lick Creek Park!

We will kick off the celebration at 8:30am at the posted coordinates with donuts, pastries and bottled water.  You are then welcome to go enjoy the trails and geocaching along the way or hang out and talk all things geocaching.  We will wrap up our event at 10:30am so we can go home to get ready to watch the Texas A&M Aggies play lsu!

There are many great caches along the trails in Lick Creek Park by Kiecker, there are also many wonderful and creative gadget caches by aggiebirds along the Lick Creek Greenbelt trail.  Both areas are great for hiking and/or biking.  Lick Creek Park has dirt trails while the Greenbelt trail is a wide paved trail. And if you want to venture a little farther north, kesleyk has a great collection of caches at Park Hudson along another great paved trail.

We look forward to seeing everyone and celebrating geocaching at this event! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about caching in the area!

Please make sure and log your will attend so that we bring enough donuts : )!

The address for Lick Creek Park is 13600 Rock Prairie Road, College Station, 77845.

Lick Creek Park

Many people consider the 523-acre Lick Creek Park to be the crown jewel of College Station’s park system. As the area’s premier nature preserve, Lick Creek displays a variety of native plant and animal species, including the endangered Navasota Ladies Tresses. The park has five miles of marked trails and opportunities for hiking, cycling, bird watching, equestrian activities, and nature study. Lick Creek is a nature lover’s dream. Restrooms are available at the Lick Creek Nature Center from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday.
