27 September 2025, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Join me and a few friends as we raft-up & side-tie next to one another on the southend of Lake Wilderness. This is a Terrain 5 CCE with the intention of learning about how Terrain 5 Geocaches and Terrain 5 requirements have shaped the challenges of geocaching for over 25 years. You do not need to sign the log, but you do need to be on the water in a craft at the posted coordinates in order to qualify to log this CCE event cache.
The Location: If the weather is truly horrid, we'll huddle under the canopy of the trees nearby. This is the south end of Lake Wilderness where the crowds are not so. The WSGA Vice President lives on this end of the lake and will be present to co-host. Please do not park in this neighborhood and do park at either one of the two (2) posted Drop-In Coordinates provided on the Event page.
The Food: We’ll provide water and a few snacks, floating on a raft amongst all the other watercrafts.
The Activities: Learn about T5 Geocaches and be part of a very unique CCE. Join us in Stand-up Paddle Board Balancing competitions. Join us for a full side-tie raft-up photo. Enjoy the day on the water with many geocaching friends.
REQUIREMENTS or NECESSITIES:: Please wear a Life-jacket and be prepared. Waterproof bag for electronic devices. NO Motorized water-crafts.
