A cache hidden along the old Fassifern railway line.
The Fassifern rail line opened from Ipswich to Harrisville in 1882 and extended in sections to Dugandan in 1887. A line to mount Edwards branched off at Munbilla in 1916 and closed in 1960.
The Boonah line closed past Churchill in 1964.
The cache is a small Bison tube. Please replace it out of the weather where you found it.
Sadly the old Hoya station was about 1km to the north of here, but the rail trail does not extend to there.
