This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2021 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are still the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
Redruth Zion Primitive Methodist church, Burra
Built as a chapel from local sandstone. Foundation stone laid 28 Jan 1858 by Rev Hillman. Church opened 24 Oct 1858. Used for United Presbyterian services from 1860. Building was enlarged in 1871. Final primative Methodist services Feb 1900. Used as Methodist Sunday School after Union from 1900. Building enlarged again and renamed Jubilee Hall in 1902. The building was sold by the Methodist church in 1929. Currently a private residence.
