October 20th, 2024 9:30 - 10:30
Where: Fuller Heights Park, 18511 Old Triangle Rd, Triangle, VA 22172
What is it? CITO stands for Cache In Trash Out. It’s the geocacher’s approach to keeping our game board (i.e. the entire planet) in great shape. Geocachers gather together to pick up trash, remove invasive species, repair trails and more! Each CITO we attend is a testament to care: care for others, our communities, and our planet.
Why? NoVAGO Geocachers like to give back to the local community. A win-win for us, and the community. If you want more than a "good feeling" for cleaning up a park, than Geocaching.com is offering a sweet CITO SEASON 2 souvenir for all geocachers who participate in a CITO between September 1st to November 30th!
What should you bring? We mainly need you! Bags for the clean up have been provided by NoVAGO. You WILL get dirty, so dress appropriately, and wear good footwear. The wood lines may have thorns and some poison ivy. It's recommended you bring a grabber. Gloves will come in handy as well. Disabled cachers are invited as well, as there are flat paved areas that have plenty of smaller trash scattered around.
