Geocache Description:


Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs (BBB) is a tradition which began in 2005 in Bolingbrook Illinois, for 2025 we're bringing you to Tinley Park.
Come one, come all...Come to socialize or come to geocache or both. There are some fabulous forest preserves and tons of caches nearby, so a good time is guaranteed to be had by all. If you're an early riser, come to Blustery Burbs Flashmob 2025 nearby at 7:30am. The main event is at 9AM, What a great way to start the new year, meeting old friends and making new ones. A hot meal, bacon, and good company on a snowy cold winters morn, what more could one ask for? Whether you're new to geocaching or an old pro come on out and grab some grub and share your caching stories with fellow cachers. Then, if you are so inclined, head on out and find a cache or even make a day of it and attend the CITO at 1PM in nearby Oak Forest.

Gratuity:
Please tell the cashier you're with the geocaching group, they'll add $2 gratuity to your bill.

Trackables:
Trackables which will fit in a regular sized container are welcome and will be assured to move on from the event. Large trackables are the responsibility of the person who brings them, you must find someone who agrees to be responsible for moving them on.

Will There Be Snow?:
Maybe the right question is; will there be a polar vortex? Through the history of this event we've had a foot of snow within 24 hours prior to the event twice, temperatures below zero, an absolutely lovely day once, and the rest were a mixed bag of cold windy days. That's the point of the event, the worse the weather the warmer the food and fellowship will be.

Event Caches:
Every year we encourage the placement of caches for the event. If you would like to hide caches in conjunction with this event your efforts are truly appreciated. Please take into account the following guidelines for placing caches....
  • Ask the reviewer to publish the cache prior to the event, the reviewer will decide what that means. (simply add a reviewer note to your cache page before submitting it.)
  • Email Mike Swaney aka greenback@gogeocaching.com with the name, and GC number of the new cache and it will be added along with your caching name to the list of event caches.
