Moorbrook Lane is a path leading up the western slopes from Bradwell village. The Ancient and Modern contrast caught our eyes in this quiet spot above the busy village of Bradwell.
There are splendid views across the village to Bradwell Edge, which overlooks the village. So take a few more steps uphill from the GC and spend a few minutes enjoying the glorious view.
On the day we placed the cache there was a glider flying over Bradwell Edge. When the thermals are good you can view colourful paragliders and always a selection of farm animals dotted all over the distant slopes and even along the top of the ridge. How many different farm animals could you see?
You might even enjoy the distant sounds! Perhaps the church clock chiming every quarter hour, or explosions and quarrying rumbles from the vast limestone quarry not far away to the North West.
So enjoy the sights and sounds and let us know what you enjoyed at this place.
And, of course, please take care to re-hide the container as you found it.
