Geocache Description:

 Giant Quarter

The giant quarter in Everett, Pennsylvania is a tribute to George Washington's ties to Bedford County, where he spent time during the French and Indian War. The Quarter was fabricated by local students whose names are welded on a plate attached to the colossal coin and is part of the Giants of the Lincoln Highway series of attractions.

To find the physical cache you must go to and start at the virtual waypoint which is next the the quarter. Walk southwest at a bearing of 190 degrees south south west along main street for approximately 389 feet staying on the same side of the road as the coin and safely in the shoulder. While keeping your eye on traffic also pay attention to the guard rail. Before long you will see our first president looking right back at you. This is a letterbox hybrid so be sure to leave the stamp and pad in the cache. To prevent muggles taking the container please use stealth and replace exactly as found.
