This is a new location for RRR #8! The original location was destroyed by a logging operation last fall. Since the draw to that location was destroyed, we decided to put out a new cache site closer to the road. After placing the container and as Mrs. CO was looking way up towards the top of the tree to determine the species, Mr. CO said, "It's a tammy". The name stuck and it's the hint! The best way to get to the cache may not be the direct approach due to the brush. You are looking for a unique medium-sized container. May have room for a couple of very small items. Welcome to the “Ridge Road Run” series. Before the days of road names and house numbers, the locals referred to the 7+ mile section of Clagstone Road that goes from Hwy 54 down to the crossing road for the railroad tracks to Kelso Lake Road as “The Ridge Road”. When they talked about traveling this route, they never “drove”, “took”, or “used” it. They always “ran” it! So, we decided to step back in time and do “The Ridge Road Run”, again! Enjoy your “race” to collect the smileys!
The original idea was 10 caches with a bonus puzzle cache, but due to growth in the area, it getting difficult to maintain the clues to the puzzle. We hope to keep all 11 stand alone caches in play, but may need to delete some as conditions change.
