Geocache Description:

Pumpkin Destruction Day V2.0

Last year we did this event and it was SSSOOO MUCH FUN, that we're doing it again. Unfortunately, I have to work the official National Pumpkin Destruction Day, so we're a day late, but it'll still be amazing!  Last year even the Fedex delivery guy got in on the act and ran the remains over. We had some great laughs. Come have some this year!

Please be aware of the time change - "falling back" that occurs at midnight...

Make sure you get here at the right hour!!!

Halloween is over.... but our pumpkins remain. Pumpkin Destruction Day is a chance to have a little fun destroying these leftovers! So come and join me on my street, with your pumpkin if you have one, and we'll smash 'em up, drop from a ladder, jump on 'em, or otherwise obliterate them! Then we'll sweep it up and compost them properly (borrowing my neighbours bins too). It should be fun, it may be messy, please park a little bit away from my house so that you don't get your car covered in pumpkin guts! And don't wear your best shoes... Rain or shine. I will supply a ladder, some hammers, but if you have anything great to cause safe devastation, it would be awesome! I'm giddy with excitement about this one! 10:00-11:00... 3632 Vincent Street. I'm sorry but my dumb dumb Geopups will bark at you coming to our house. Just ignore them. You may bring yours if you want, but the noise and destruction might be better to leave them at home. I have a covered carport shelter in case of rain and will have out my propane fire ring for warmth. Plus warm beverages if you are cool... Rain or shine!

Feel free to ask your neighbours for their finished pumpkins, it's a free way to help out and add to the fun. And unfortunately, cleaning up afterwards does not count as an offical CITO event, we asked last year...
