Geocache Description:

"The Gold Camp Road Tunnels were constructed during the 1800's to help support the ongoing Pikes Peak Gold Rush".

A railway was laid down connecting Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs. The "Short Line" train service began in 1901 and sold at auction in 1922.  On 5/6/39, the route became a free public road.

This cache is a small lock n' lock.  It contains a log sheet, pencil and a little swag.

Please cover it as good if not better than you found it.  C.I.T.O.  Please help keep Teller County clean.

Thanks for visiting my cache.

Congratulations to Ernie66 for being FTF at 10 a.m. this morning.
