Geocache Description:

Elephant path #2

I've always loved elephant paths (also known as desire paths or desire lines), so this series takes you past a couple of my favourites here in Aberdeen.

I like these ones for their brazen-ness, and the sheer drops (which makes me think they're is mostly one-way paths!).

During the summer the paths are obscured somewhat by vegetation, but you can still see where people have found ways through the wire fence. For obvious safety reasons I don't recommend actually using the paths, but they're fun to look down onto!

There is no parking on or near the very narrow bridge, but you can easily walk up from Canal Road where there's a few spots.

The puzzle is quite simple.
If you look closely at the metal posts on the west side of the bridge, you'll notice they have numbers on the base. Find the southmost post, and add up the numbers you see. This will be A. Now walk northwards to the seventh post and do the same thing. This will be B.

For your westings, find the bridge number (beginning WRO/) and add the total of the numbers on the 6th post. This will be C.

N 57° 09.AB′ W 2° 06.C′

(checksum A+B+C = 354)
