The Story Behind the Cache:
I was digging around the basement of an old machine shop in Ogden a few months ago and stumbled upon a machinist’s diary from 1890. It described some kind of contraption called "The Emptiness Machine."
For reasons I can’t quite explain, I decided to follow the instructions and try to build one myself. I don’t know what I was hoping for, but whatever it was, I didn’t receive it. I guess I fell for the promise of the emptiness machine.
After several attempts, I was left with nothing but a hollow feeling.
Maybe you’ll find something where I couldn’t.
