"Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." — John F. Kennedy
They say the only constant is change, but last year worked so well, that we are going to leave things alone. Well mostly alone, it's going to be a little later to accomodate the home Titans game, but it is still on Sunday afternoon at a spot where we can let other folks worry about the menu, if you are into that sort of thing. Chewing is entirely optional, unless you find food in your mouth, as we have a strict no choking policy.
We are still not quite sure what the future may hold, but we wanted to keep one of the oldest continuous events in Tennessee going for another year. After our great Middle Tennessee Geocachers Club event here recently, we have decided to revisit the grounds of Nash Family Creamery for a laid back sort of post-Halloween wrap up. Naturally they will have their sandwich and ice cream menu available inside for anyone who chooses to grab a bite, but that is totally optional. The important thing is to get out of the house and enjoy a lovely afternoon with your fellow geocachers. If you want to extend the spooky season just a little you can wear your costumes, bring your geocaching stories, swap some trackables and share your spirit; you know the basic event stuff. At the end of the day, it is all about getting together with old friends and meeting new folks and as busy as the season is this year, I still feel like we can do that. So come on out and see us for another, more different, hauntingly good time.
