Ahh, the GOMs. We all love them. A band of revered veteran Sydney geocachers, who really, really despise mint tins. And guardrails. Particularly their combination. These Grumpy Old Mates have a knack for trying to FTF every half-decent puzzle in Sydney. They have a certain mystery about them, you never know they are there, lurking in the shadows until it is too late and you see GOM scrawled in the log!
The GOMs have given their own fun back to the Sydney geocaching scene. High D/T puzzles, stuck up trees, stranded in rivers, and many of them MINT TINS. What about their disappointing virtual, which has got to be one of the hardest in the world!
Despite all this, they are great people and deserve some love. In fact, the community has written a personalised love letter to each of them. How sweet!
