Geocache Description:

The cache IS NOT at the posted coordinates.

Cleveland Ohio has been the home of many famous people and this series of caches intends to honor many of them.

To solve the mystery you need to determine the names person and the dates of their birth and death.

HINT:

I am a man
I am not alive
I moved to the Cleveland area in 1853
I was an abolitioist

Too Difficult?  Maybe this will help:

My family lived in New York state until I was 14 years old
I had one older sister and four younger brothers.
My wife and I had four daughters and one son.
My first job in Cleveland was as a bookkeeper
A well known historically black woman's college was renamed after my wife in 1884

Do you know who I am now? No?

I was the first person to become a billionaire in the United States
I am buried in Lake View Cemetery
One of my grandsons was the 41st Vice President of the United States
Another of my grandsons was the governer of Arkansas
One of my great grandsons was a senator and governor for West Virgina
I was an oil baron and by the end of the 1870s, my company produced over 90% of the oil being sold and used in the United States.

Some of the things I have said are:

“A man’s wealth must be determined by the relation of his desires and expenditures to his income. If he feels rich on ten dollars, and has everything else he desires, he really is rich.

"The poorest man I know is the man who has nothing but money.”

“I believe in the dignity of labor, whether with head or hand; that the world owes no man a living but that it owes every man an opportunity to make a living.”

“Charity is injurious unless it helps the recipient to become independent of it.”

You can find the final at:

N 41 30.ABC
W 81 41.DEF

Convert the letters of my name to numbers. A = 1, B = 2,.....Z =26

A = The single digit cross sum of the year I died + 2

B = The number value of the third letter of my first name - 3.
C = The last number in the year I died - 3.

D = The single digit cross sum of the year I was born - 1.
E = The number value of the first letter of my middle name - 1.
F = The number value of the month I was born - 4

This was one of my houses in Cleveland
