Hi everyone! My nickname is Animatronio and I am from Czech Republic. I was invited on a small trip to Budapest, so I decided to make a geocaching event during my visit here. I want to meet local geocachers. I looked at the calendar and decided to partially dedicate my event here to running, since October 27th is World Run Day. I do similar events quite often in the Czech Republic, here is their list.
World Run Day
For many people around the world, running is more than just a form of exercise! This type of activity is a celebration of the human spirit, a testament to human endurance and a universal language that transcends borders and cultures. It is an annual event that brings together runners from all corners of the globe and this year is World Run Day celebrated on October 27th.
This event should be celebrated by geocachers too! Running is great sport for geocachers, as caches can also be found while running. And running is also very important for FTF hunters! Information about event
The geocaching event dedicated to geocaching and also to the World Run Day will take place on October 27th from 8am to 8.30am in small sport park called Olympic park near the Olympic Rings.
This event is of type meet-and-greet, anyone is welcome to attend. The main goal of this event is to chat about geocaching, exchange tracking items and maybe even xWG. And volunteers can run a little during this event.
The event will have its own CWG.
