Cache is NOT at Posted Coordinates
After its inaugaral in 1928 as a route from Jackson Prison out to the prison farm north of town, it wasn't long until the state decided there was a need to extend this highway further northeast to the village of Stockbridge where it meets the north-south M-52. This was done in 1930 along with a further extension into the village of Gregory where the route ends at the east-west M-36.
This is a Challenge Cache and you must complete a task before claiming a find on it. That task is finding at least 106 caches in each of the 3 Michigan counties this highway runs through: Jackson, Ingham, and Livingston. You can sign it at any time and leave a note if you wish but to claim the find you'll need to find a total of 318 caches first with at least 106 of them being in each of those counties. The difficulty rating is for the challenge, not for the actual cache.
